This one I found on one of my old disks, but had no idea where it came from. It had no credits screen at, no REM's in the program itself, but was obviousy based on the Star Trek franchise. By chance, I found a walkthrough of a Star Trek adventure game for a Commodore-64, which mentioned that it was by Aardvark and came out in 1983 for that machine. I already had found the first ad for the Coco version (80 Micro, May 1981), and the ad credits it to Bob Retelle, who wrote a lot of Aardvark's adventure games. I also found some details about it in an online copy of their 1983/84 catalog. The beginning of the walkthrough verified that this is the same game. Another mystery solved and another "lost" game found! The Walkthrough can be found here: https://gamesolutions.efzeven.nl/trek-adventure-walkthrough-aardvark1983/ (Some speculation on my part: the late 1970's and beginning of the 1980's was when Paramount was pretty loose with enforcing their Star Trek trademarks, but they started clamping down around 1981 (and Adventure International actually licensed it properly) as they started to realize that they could make money on Star Trek in computer games. I suspect that is why there is no credits/author in the game itself. I also have added REM's to this copy to attribute the author & company, but they were not part of the copy I found.) I have included a copy of the original ad (when they were still called Aardvark Technical Services), as well as the description of the game that they included in their 1983 catalog. L.
